Without sales there are no companies, there are no payrolls and there is no economy. A seller will always have a way of subsisting, there will always be demand for his skill. It is very interesting that the educational system seeks to prepare us to earn money in our professional life, however, you can study a bachelor’s degree or even a doctorate and you never carry a skill class that can really make you earn money, to sell. What a great contradiction!
There are 5 reasons why it is thought it is basic to teach your children to sell, especially in this time with so many changes:
1) They will be free of fixed wages.
Almost all of us have been in a job from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm in which you have to support a boss who will pay you what he wants and sometimes we come to feel that we do not have many growth opportunities, do you really want that for your children? I do not think so.
Do you know the level of empowerment, freedom, and courage that you give a child by being able to create something out of thin air, help others, and make money?
2) They will lose the fear of rejection
The children insist on insisting until they achieve what they want, i.e. the children are already born salesmen. But over the years, the same parents are putting out this persistence. If you teach a child never to surrender that if something did not go as expected, make him to try again, you will be teaching the essence of sales. If a customer says NO, the seller will simply look for more customers, some will probably say yes.
3) They can negotiate the life they deserve with the world
When a child learns to earn things, he feels self-sufficient which will give him a sense of responsibility and also know that he can achieve what he proposes with effort. It will not depend on the approval of a boss or a teacher to achieve their dreams.
4) No matter what they do in the future, they will be leaders
The best thing you can do with your kids is to motivate them to sell from an early age, you can start with the classic lemonade sale, bake cookies, create crafts and sell them. Children are characterized by their great capacity to imagine and create, for their curiosity to discover new things, their adventurous spirit, and their way of overcoming the obstacles presented in a positive way. All of these points are points that children have in common with the world’s greatest leaders. Use them as a parent!
5) They always … always have work.
Without sales there are no companies, there are no payrolls and there is no economy. A seller will always have a way of subsisting, there will always be demand for his skill.
