These are the oldest companies in the world that currently continue to operate and are very successful.

1-. Bank

The fundamentals of money lending date back to at least two millennia before the Common Era, and in Greece and Rome similar banks are still operating today. In 1929, the company Avedis Zildjian moved to Massachusetts and today dominates the world market of cymbals; 400 years later, its great secret remains the metallic formula.

3-. Pharmacy

In 1612, the Dominican friars of the monastery of Santa Maria Novella in Florence, Italy, opened to the public a place where they provided people with very low prices balsams, ointments and soaps that they had been making with herbalist herbs since 1221. The pharmacy is still open almost 4 centuries later.

4-. Brewery

In 1040, Arnold, abbot of Weihenstephan Abbey, a former Benedictine monastery located north of the German city of Munich, obtained a license to brew beer. In 1803, the abbey was dissolved, but the brewery did not close and almost a thousand years later, it continues to produce frothy.
