What started as a fun for Cyrene Quiamco has ended up being a juicy source of income.
The venture has no limits. The Social networks have not been ignored by those seeking business opportunities, but imagine you could earn money through them.
This is the case of Cyrene Quiamco winning $ 25,000 for Snap. She is 26 years old and is a graphic designer who started using Snapchat in January 2015 and since then their stories are seen about 40 thousand times a day. What started as a fun Cyrene has ended up being a great source of income: only creating Snaps, that is, short stories told through videos, photos, texts and drawings, which only last up to 10 seconds.
Snapchat, like other Social Networks, began as an idea among college friends, whose aim was to create an application of short messages purporting that instantly disappeared and no trace remained. The application was launched in 2012 under the name of Picaboo and then the name changed to Snapchat.
The girl, who identifies herself as CyreneQ in all online platforms, claimed her first Snap about $500, and then the big companies were quick to note her skills. But then the US talent program, The Voice, commissioned her to make two Snaps and currently charges up to $25,000 for Snap.
Currently, the young artist works as creative director for the telephone company Verizon and after finishing their workday is spent working on Snapchat.
The truth is that Quiamco believes that the interactive aspect of his creations is what makes them so popular. In her series, Celebrity Selfies, it draws herself with her favorite celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Bruno Mars. Also games and designs with popular characters from movies like Ice Age and Frozen.
Most Snapchat stories involve public participation is an active part of the story while creating live. She is also the creator of The11thSecond.com, a blog and a community for artists to share their work in Snapchat. Not surprisingly last year, Quiamco was nominated for a Shorty Award, which recognizes the best talent in Social Media.
